The Ocean County Board of Social Services provides eligible county residents with financial, medical, and social services assistance. Assistance can be granted for emergency circumstances, as well as to meet ongoing needs. Offices are located in Lakewood, Toms River, and Manahawkin.

Established in March 2005, the LRRC was created to help New Jersey resident access, navigate, and understand the complex and often confusing government entitlement offices, information sources and applications.
